Over the past few years I have also familiarized myself with 3D modeling and sculpting.

Years ago a project arose where I had to create and texture models for physical 3D printing services. Around that time I familiarized myself with Blender, and learned the platform well enough to create some pretty high quality assets.

In the past year I have pressed myself to expand this experience and have done some quality character design, animation, fashion mock-up rendering, logo work, and more.

I have learned how to digitally sculpt with high poly counts, but additionally have opted to learn the process of proper re-topology so that 3D sculpts can be adapted for professional use in rigs, games, animation, CAD, etc.

Texturing & Compositing

As well as sculpting & modeling from scratch, I have developed the skill of painting and texturing my work with good shading principles and fine detail.

I’m skilled at manipulating the material values of my models’ different features to give them distinct textures and a realistic quality.

Growing up I’ve been very inspired by the clay animation work of franchises like Wallace & Gromit.

I also often take my 3D renders and composite them into collages, flyers, and other marketing material. A mixed media approach allows for some very interesting graphics.
